Due Diligence

I work alongside banking, corporate and company lawyers, both in-house and external, in transactional work in assisting clients to ascertain, understand and manage risks arising from existing construction contracts and other contracts.

Effective due diligence reporting requires both a thorough understanding of the relevant contract as well as a full appreciation of how business, and particularly construction companies, operate in order to identify any potential risks in construction contracts, professional appointments and third party warranties.

Previous Work
  • Due diligence in relation to the construction contract risks arising from the proposed purchase of the share capital of a construction company.
  • Due diligence on behalf of a funder considering providing additional funding part way through a residential development.
